we found out yesterday that Jesse doesn't have to go to the Ukraine! yay! Thankfully, one of the top guys in the marine corp also had a wife that had to be put on bedrest for the same reason...so he completely understood the severity/importance of Jesse staying home! I'm very happy that he gets to stay home with me. however, he has me under strict orders to stay in bed unless it's to go the bathroom or shower. otherwise, i have to depend on him to do everything else. Now, i understand, most of you are probably thinking...why are you complaining? I'm not. But there's just so much to do and I could get it all done if i didn't have to stay in bed! haha. But, i've left the house-cleaning, laundry, and food all up to Jesse. Of course, with my reminding demands he won't forget! :)
So what have i done with all this time of laying around being lazy? well, i finished a book in one night. and for those of you who know me, you'll know this is unusual because i'm not a big reader. Other than that, I wrote down birthdays on our calendar, wrote down addresses for the shower, and have done nothing but sit on facebook refreshing the newsfeed every couple of minutes. Yes, i'm that bored. However, today I think i'll have Jesse get out my scrapbooking box. I have Emeri's scrapbook that needs finished, so this is the perfect time to do so! :)
Rylee got sick this morning. I'm not sure why. All i know is I woke up to her coughing and gagging and then yep, she was throwing up. ewwwwww!!! now, i'm not a person that deals with throw-up easily...actually, it disgusts me. I'd rather be in another room when it happens. But, since i'm the adult and Rylee's the dog I had to take care of it. So, I did the only logical thing there was to do...I woke Jesse up! :) Thankfully, she's feeling much better and she's now laying next to me taking a nap!
Well, it's lunchtime. So it's time to give my menu to Jesse.
Later friends! :)

27 weeks and bedrest
well friends, I realize that my baby update is late this week. i'm very sorry. a lot has happened and i've been very tired as well. So an update first, and then we'll do the pregnancy update as well.
Thursday we had a dr. appt. At our doctor's office we have our main doctor and then we rotate between the 3 who are on staff there. This past appointment we met the last doctor that we had never seen before. Jesse and I really liked her. She didn't keep us waiting, and she was very informative and answered all of our questions. However, she put me on bedrest for the next 10 days until or next appointment. She's worried that I might have preeclampsia. So at the next appt they're going to do some more tests to see. Now, I'm not complaining about the fact that I don't have to work for the next 10 days...however, i will say that I'm already very bored. I've almost completed a book today. all of my dvd's i've seen...so i guess it's going to be time to start grey's anatomy over again! Or i could just order some netflix! :) Jesse has me on strict orders to not get out of bed unless i have to go to the bathroom! i can't complain though, because he has faithfully refilled my water cup and gotten me snacks when I have asked. He even gave Rylee a bath for me tonight...as well as finishing a few loads of laundry! So, i'm not complaining about any of that.
I guess neither of us really realized how serious preeclampsia is. However, both of our parent's quickly filled us in...which is why i think Jesse is so persistent on me staying in bed. Now, we all know that Jesse is suppose to leave for the Ukraine in a few days. And i know he's slightly worried that I won't listen to his commands on staying in bed while he's gone. haha. But, I will...even if it means that my house doesn't get clean. This would be the perfect time to work on my baby's room...if i wasn't restricted to this bed!!
On another note, our wedding pictures are in and i'm soooo excited! I can't wait to order them and hang them up in our house! I've had spots picked out for quite some time for our pictures... so i'm super excited to see how it all looks! Now, of course, those pics will prob soon be replaced with new family pics! haha.
and now...the pregnancy update. I'm officially in my third trimester! Time sure has flown! Only 13 more weeks to go! It seems like time is going by so fast and there's still sooooooooo much that we have to do!
- What I'm craving these days: well, i've been craving hotdogs...especially the chicago-stlye ones from sonic and steak-n-shake! also, chocolate...like peanut M&M's! yummmm!!!!
- How I'm feeling: tired... and huge. my feet are still swollen. nothing new.
- What I don't like: that's a hard one these days. i still have no desire to eat steak...but the smell doesn't bother me as much anymore.
- Sleep: It's only possible for me to go to sleep when i'm laying on my left side with my body pillow. i also have to have lots and lots of pillows to keep me comfy as well!
- What I'm looking forward to: not having swollen feet and being able to wear heels again! :) also, finishing the baby room...that is, if i ever get off of bedrest!
- Size of Baby Schiff: our baby boy is now a little more than 2 pounds! he's about 9 2/3 inches long.
- Baby Schiff's development this week: Baby Schiff is starting to rotate to make his head-first grand entrance! at about this time in pregnancy, his eyes are no longer fused, trying to open. His retina, at the back of his eye, is light-sensitive. t's starting to develop its normal layers. These layers receive light and light information...and transmit it to the brain for interpretation (sight). He's also starting to move a lot more.
-Message to Baby Schiff from Mommy: well, i was hoping to get to work on your room these next few weeks, but it seems that I have to stay in bed to make sure you don't come too early and stay just fine inside my ever-growing belly! Which is ok with me...we'll just make your daddy do all of the work. Only 13 more weeks until we get to meet you! We're so excited Baby Boy! Love always <3
Sorry I don't have a pic to post tonight. I'll try to get one tomorrow! :)
Time to finish this book now! :)

The Lottery
I realize that I've been failing miserably at updating this blog the past few weeks. I'm determined to get back on track...so we shall see how this goes.
Currently, we're in the midst of trying to get things ready for Jesse to leave for a few weeks. This means last minute shopping, sewing things, ordering uniform stuff, etc. oh yes, lots and lots of fun. Seems that I still have a lot to learn about this military lifestyle. haha. For example: sewing his name tags on correctly. I'm not quite convinced that he fully trusts my ability to do it correctly.
and this pregnancy...let me just say that i'm ready for it to be August. My feet are constantly swollen and it doesn't seem to get any better, despite my best efforts to do everything I can to keep them from getting any bigger. My fingers seem to be even more swollen too. This is especially apparent when i took my rings off and realized how swollen my fingers actually are. And my face... i'm going to blame the fact that it seems a lot bigger than usual on this pregnancy and being swollen. One thing I am happy about...the baby shower and registering. I'm not completely done registering, however I did start the process online. Now all that's left to do is actually make it into the store one day and finish! I'll gladly accept any diaper donations from anyone! :)
I'd like to win the lottery... or at least fall into about a million dollars. Money doesn't grow on trees....but sometimes I strongly believe that it should. A million dollars could potentially solve a lot of things. For example: new house or at least remodeling the one we're currently in!
we're looking forward to this weekend. We have a wedding to attend and then we're spending a few nights in StL! One thing we definitely want to do is see the Hangover Part II while we're there. It'll be Jesse's last chance to see a movie for awhile as well! :) I'm hoping that I can sneak a trip to the spaghetti factory in there as well. Jess isn't as big of a fan of the spaghetti factory as I am...but that's ok...I'm almost positive I can convince him to go!
Rylee's sure going to miss her daddy while he's away. When he's home she doesn't have to be locked up all day in her kennel. I'm not quite sure what she's going to do all day when she has to be in there! One things for sure...she's going to be absolutely CRAZY when I get home from work and let her out! Oh, that will be fun!
I'm hoping that Jess and I can sneak in some time to work on the baby room before he leaves. There's still a lot to do and not enough time left to finish it! My goal is to get a lot done while he's gone...that way when he gets home we just have a few final touches to do and decorating as well! I at least want to get it painted and partially decorated...as well as getting some of my crafty ideas done as well! Of course, if we had a name picked out, this all would be a lot easier! =)
Alright, well that's it. Night!

26 weeks!
- What I'm craving these days: sweets... i just made some cookie bars tonight cause I really wanted some chocolate! Other than that, nothing too crazy!
- How I'm feeling: tired, of course! But that's nothing new. My feet also hurt...but I'm thinking that's only because they're HUGE!!
- What I don't like: hmmmm... well, Jesse cooked some steak the other night and it didn't bother me...so I guess I can't say steak anymore! So, right now, I really don't know! I stick to things I know I like! :)
- Sleep: I can still only sleep on my left side! It's the only way I get comfy! I've also learned to put a pillow underneath my belly to help make me more comfortable, as well as having my body pillow! Our bed is full of pillows these days... in fact we have 8 plus my body pillow...so 9 pillows total! haha.
- What I'm looking forward to: The material for the bedding finally came in...so I'm super excited to start working on that with my mom! Also, I'm looking forward to the baby shower and starting the final trimester! Can't get here soon enough!!
- Size of Baby Schiff: Our baby boy is around 9 1/4 inches now!! He almost weighs a whole 2 pounds...so I can't blame all this extra weight on him! haha.
- Baby Schiff's development this week: Baby Schiff now has a distinct sleeping/waking cycle. Hopefully, it's a good cycle! :) He can start to see things now because his eyes are beginning to open, if they haven't already! He's able to somewhat move his heard around as well these days and his hair is starting to grow in!
-Message to Baby Schiff from Mommy: You're bedding is finally here and I can't wait to start working on it! Your daddy has to leave in about 9 days for 3 weeks for the military... so it's just going to be You, Rylee, and Me for awhile! Oh the fun we'll have!! :) Only 14 more weeks until we FINALLY get to meet you! <3

*Please excuse the spot on my shirt...I had just finished washing the dishes and didn't feel like changing! haha*
and now...a little update. So, about 3 months after Baby Schiff is born we have the annual Marine Corp Ball in StL! I'm using the ball as my motivation to immediately start working out after Baby gets here... or at least as soon as possible! I bought a dress for 10 bucks at TJ Maxx for the ball, so it's going to be my inspiration to lose all this extra weight! I love the ball...Jesse doesn't seem to enjoy it as much as I do...but I love having a reason to go out, dress up, and get pretty! It kinda feels like prom...only more formal and a lot more fun!
What else is new!? I've found a new love for my new cup. It's one of those Plastic cups that you can take with you anywhere...it has a straw and everything! I'm sure it has an official name but I can't think of it right now! Go figure! Anyway, I love it. I take it EVERYWHERE with me. It's so convenient at work as well, because I can just fill it up with water all day long! It helps me to drink all the water I'm supposed to drink in a day as well!
It's been a lonnnggg day today! Jesse had classes for the mines and somehow ended up with both sets of our car keys. Yes, that's right...He took my car and somehow took his jeep's keys with him as well. What's funny is before he left I reminded him to leave the keys and he said ok, they're on the desk! So, I was going to be extra nice today and take his Jeep up to the car wash and clean it as well. Too bad I couldn't because I didn't have the keys! When I called to ask him where they were he said they were on the desk... when i informed him they were not he said.."oooh, that's because they're right here!" hahahah. Oh well, I got a lot accomplished by being stuck at home all day anyway! I did about 3480923840923850 loads of laundry. Yes, that many indeed! At least it felt like that many. Good news is:: It's all done...except for some towels..but that's no biggie! I also cleaned our bathroom, cleaned out some cabinets, and did the dishes. And since Jesse seems to think I don't cook enough anymore, I made us some delicious tacos and mexican rice! I also made dessert... which we have yet to try because we're both full! :)
Rylee...what's she been up to you may wonder!? Well, Today she hid some more of her chewy bones and stuff because I found several of them while cleaning today. So, of course she had to find a new hiding spot. It's hilarious because she'll hide them in the covers that I have laid out and then I'll move them to make the bed and she'll just have to hide them again. So I get to hear her whine even more!! She's so funny though! I woke up early this morning because I had to pee...yes, that seems to be a continuing trend these days...and it's only getting worse! Anyway, she usually wakes up when I get out of the bed for any reason and this morning she didn't. So I got worried because I didn't see her. I "quietly" tried to say her name but apparently it wasn't quiet enough because I woke Jesse up. Turns out, Rylee was snugged right between his legs down by his feet passed out. According to Jess, she went from sleeping in his arms to sleeping in his feet last night! She's such a baby...but that's ok, because we've kind of made her that way!
Alright, I think that about does it for tonight! I promise to update a lot more from now on!
*The material for Baby Schiff's bedding! <3 it!!*
*My dress for this year's Marine Corp Ball... definitely different from last years*
*My new FAVORITE cup!*

just gotta laugh...
Hey Friends... now, I realize that I've slacked a bit in updating lately. I'm always tired and it usually seems like a hassle to just turn my laptop on! However, I'm going to try my hardest to update more than I have this past week! :) It's Wednesday...which means i'm officially 26 weeks!! One week closer...yay!! I'm not going to do the baby update tonight but I promise I will post it tomorrow! I haven't taken a picture tonight....and i'm already in my pj's... so a pic isn't likely!
I realized that my last post was titled "love song" and i forgot to post the video at the end....which was the main reason I titled it that! So, here's the video. It's the song "Love Song" by Miranda Lambert... I love love love it!!

So...some exciting news;; Beauty and the Beast and the Lion King are coming to the Fox Theatre in StL! I'm so excited about this!! I immediately called Jesse and informed him that we're going! He at least has to go see Lion King with me!! My mom and I saw it a few years ago and it was definitely one of my favorite shows I've seen there. I've been waiting for Beauty and the Beast to come there for a long time...so I'm super excited!
well, that's about it for tonight. I promise tomorrow will be a much better post. I'm tired and have a big list of things that need to get done! So, we'll see how fast I can get through this list tonight and tomorrow!
Night all!

love song
well, we're going to keep this post short and sweet. mainly because i'm tired and have to work in the morning...so i need to go to sleep. jesse and rylee are already passed out and it is rare that they both are asleep before me!
Jesse just got in from drill today. He was only gone for one night and two days... so no need to explain the reason why he is so exhausted. so what's the latest news in the Schiff household? well... for starters, Jesse just found out this weekend that he has to go out of the country for 3 weeks at the end of the month for the marine corp. no, i'm not thrilled about the fact that he'll be gone for so long because I absolutely HATE staying home alone. But, I guess I need to try to stay here on my own while he's gone. at least I got my big, protective puppy, Rylee to keep me safe! haha. I also started registering online today for my baby shower! Walmart and Target... so feel free to start buying us stuff....like our changing table and dresser...Just Kidding!
We...or should I say, I have made big plans to partially remodel this house. We don't own it, so I don't want to invest a lot of money...but I would like to do some minor fixing up on this place. So, we shall see how all of this goes!
pregnancy update:: my feet are still huge...think beluga whale these days! haha. i'm always tired and my patience seems to be running very thin these days! It's funny, because I can give Jesse a look and I swear he know what I'm thinking. My patience runs very thin while I'm at work. Working with the public is not fun. Hence the reason I'm starting online classes in a couple of months to finish my master's degree.
well, that's it for tonight. I don't have any crafty updates like I should have because i haven't made it to hobby lobby or the lumber yard store to pick up supplies. Maybe, I can talk Jesse into going to the lumber yard for me this week! :)

25 weeks!
Hey Friends... sorry it's been a few days. the site was down for maintenance and in "read only" status for the past couple of days. Therefore, I couldn't post anything new until it was done! So, an update on the pregnancy. I'm officially 25 weeks!! Only 15 more to go! yay!
- What I'm craving these days: hmmmm... nothing specific these days. Since i got sick, i've been drinking water...lots and lots of water. so I guess I could say some caffeine or coffee would be nice!
- How I'm feeling: tired and huge. My feet have decided to swell up again for no apparent reason other than to make me mad. not to mention, my fingers seem to be swelling a little as well as my face. Only 15 more weeks though...
- What I don't like: still don't like the smell of steak...but other than that..nothing has bothered me this past week.
- Sleep: I can only sleep on my left side now. I don't even attempt to try to lay on my right side, because it's impossible. what else is impossible, sleeping on my stomach. I do miss those days. My body pillow has been helping me to get a lot more sleep though!
- What I'm looking forward to: starting to work on his bedding. Also, decorating the baby room and getting to see all of my ideas as a finished product! :)
- Size of Baby Schiff: well, according to my baby books, which both say differently, Baby Schiff is anywhere between about 8-12 inches. i know...kinda a big range.. but i don't know which one is right.. so we'll just do an estimate! He weighs about 1 1/2 pounds now! :)
- Baby Schiff's development this week: Believe it or not, Baby Schiff's physical proportions are pretty much ready for birth. His remaining development will mainly be nervous system and weight gain. Since his lungs started producing "sufactant" last week, his tiny respiratory system is getting stronger each day!
-Message to Baby Schiff from Mommy: This week we got quite a few things to prepare for your arrival. I ordered your bedding material, bought some bedding to customize, and even came up with a few more ideas for your room. It's going to be great! I started thinking of everything that I thought would be cool to have in my room as a kid and figured out ways to put them in your room! Soon, we're going to have your room finished! I can't wait. Love always <3

just another normal day....
Me: "I'm soooo over this phone" [throws phone onto bed]
Jesse: "Babe, you haven't even had that phone for more than 3 months"
Me: " I know, but it's being stupid... I want a new one"
Jesse: "haha, I love you"
Thought I'd start this blog off with what seems to be a normal conversation in our household. I'm usually complaining about something that I have, while Jesse is trying to talk sense into me. Then, realizing that this is probably impossible, he ends with an I love you instead! hahah. Yep, what can I say....it's just another normal day in the Schiff household.
Anyway, it's been a few days since I've updated...but goodness... so much has happened. Let's start with Friday... the quick version is as follows:: got up, meeting, sent home from work to go to the dr., call doctor's office, nurse calls back and says go to hospital, Jesse's sick, Mom takes me to hospital, we spend roughly about 3 hours in the hospital, we monitor baby's heartbeat, ultrasound, tests, confirm infection, discharge papers, antibiotics, home. To say the least, it was a verrrryyyyy long day. But we're thankful that it wasn't anything more serious...and baby, well he's doing just fine. His heartbeat was 155 while I was in the hospital. Also, he seems to have started moving a lot more since then. Guess he figured it was time to start making himself known. The only bad thing...he seems to know only one trick. Ahhhh, bet you're wondering what that might be!? Well, he knows how to do somersaults....over and over and over and over. Yes, it's a lot of fun. Jesse finds it amusing... I find it quite uncomfortable at times. Who would have known that little flutters in your belly could go from that to somersaults!?
I've decided that I want to expand my hobby so I can make money! When I told Jesse this, he was very supportive. Problem is, like always, everything I want to do involves investing quite a bit of money. Money that I don't really need to spend right now. What do I want? Good question. To start with, I want an embroidery machine, a wood cutter, and lots of paint, brushes, and material. I have a lot of ideas for our baby room and lots of ideas of other things I can make too. Hopefully, we can make this happen. My plan is to start making things, get really good at it, sell some stuff, make some money, and be able to work from home... I know, kinda unrealistic at the moment...But hey, I'm dreaming! :)
And...what's new in Rylee's world? Well, she's definitely acting more and more like a princess everyday. This morning, I woke up with her wedged between Jesse and I. She started out snugged up by Jesse's face and then when I woke up, she moved over by me and laid her little head on my belly. She's so sweet in the mornings and at night...you would almost think that she wouldn't be so crazy during the day. Oh, but she is. She's very smart though. You can tell her to go get her ball to play and she will do it. She always goes for her green one, because it's the one thats been played with the most....and it's been used just enough to where it's frayed a little so it's easy for her to throw it around. It's actually quite amusing. Rylee also gets very wound up after having a bath...like yesterday. I dried her off and then let her go and she started running crazy around the house. Once she was running and jumping on our bed...however, she forgot to jump and ran straight into the side of the bed, bounced backwards, got up, and started running again. She's our baby girl...and she's pretty tough too. =)
Well, that's about it for tonight. I should probably go throw a load of laundry in, but my feet are currently the size of Texas and i'm tired. I also have to get up early so I can get a haircut before work. Why? Because Jesse informed me that my hair looks too thick and I need a trim tonight. Can't say I blame him...it does need thinned out some. I'm just always too tired to go get it done! But, I'm determined to do so tomorrow...so we'll see how that goes.
Night all!

can we pretend that airplanes in the night sky are like shooting stars....
It's Thursday!! and that means it's craft day!! So, Jesse and I got out the paint and brushes and started on a project for Baby Schiff's room. This is his first original painted project that we'll be making him from now until he's here...the first official project was the star thing that Jesse did last week! So....what did we paint!? A rocket ship!! It's not completely done...as you will be able to tell in the pics below. We had to let the paint dry... we still have quite a bit to add in the next few days until it's completely finished! But, once it's done... it'll be super cute!!
While we were painting tonight we talked about baby names. Some of you may know that if Baby Schiff was a girl we had already decided on a name. But shoot, this boy name has been quite difficult for us. We had one name picked out that we both agreed on, however, Jesse has changed his mind. So we threw a few more out there tonight. I'm not going to reveal what we decided on...because who knows... we'll probably change our minds again. I will say that the initials on the names that we're tossing around are R.L.S., C.L.S., J.L.S., and S.L.S. The middle name is obviously going to be Lee...since that is both Jesse and I's middle name. :) So friends, soon you shall know the name of our baby boy....or we might just keep it a secret until he's here. haven't decided yet!
I also decided on a big craft project for the baby's room. It's going to take a lot of time and effort, but I'm positive it will be worth it when i'm finished. I'm going to make alphabet stencils for a "learning wall" in the baby's room. It's going to be square blocks with each letter of the alphabet. I'm super excited to get started on this. Also, i'm going to make a growth chart for baby as well. Again, this is going to take some time. I'm thinking about cutting the wood myself....or should I say...seeing if Dad will help cut the wood :) Once I start these projects, I'll be sure to keep pictures of how they are coming along. Hopefully, both will turn out the way i'm picturing! fingers crossed!!
Well, that's about it for tonight. It's late and i have a pointless meeting early in the a.m. for work....and seeing that EVERYWHERE is flooded right now, I have to leave extra early to make it there on time. My feet are also very swollen tonight and I don't know why...so I think it's time for bed and time to elevate the feet! Night all!
the beginning....
the end of the project for tonight.... (not completely finished yet though!)
I love Carrie Underwood...and this song. Watch it! :)

24 weeks...and the Schiff household!
Today marks 24 weeks!! and for those of you who may be counting in months... this means I am officially 6 months!! woooo!!
- What I'm craving these days: Honestly, I'd really love to have some corn on the cob!! I wish that those people that sell it from the back of their trucks would set up in Royalton soon!!
- How I'm feeling: tired. as usual. this really isn't anything new. I am finding it harder and harder to sleep these days though! I also feel very, very, verrrryyyy fat! I must admit, it's a little depressing seeing all of my summer clothes that I can't fit into...that's why most of them are in boxes at mom's house! :) Next year though, next year I will be able to wear them... along with all of my bathing suits as well! :)
- What I don't like: Still don't like the smell of steak cooking in my house. McDonald's cheeseburgers.
- Sleep: Getting harder to go to sleep! It's hard to get comfy and once I finally do... yep, you guessed it, I have to go pee. It really is a never-ending cycle. Sometimes I have to have Jesse help me get comfy by situating my pillows and blankets!
- What I'm looking forward to: Getting closer to that due date!! Decorating the room, baby shower, buying clothes! I won't lie, I'm looking forward to being able to get into shape after Baby Schiff is here. As you all may know, I've never been a person that likes to workout...however, I can say, I am actually looking forward to being able to get a good workout!
- Size of Baby Schiff: Baby Schiff is almost a foot long...think an ear of corn... and he's gained about 4 ounces since just last week!! He's now about 1 1/4 pounds!
- Baby Schiff's development this week: His body is starting to fill out. His face and body is looking more like that of an infant at the time of birth. His brain is growing quickly and his taste buds are continually developing! Baby Schiff's lungs are developing "branches" of the respiratory "tree" along with the cells that produce surfactant (surfactant will help his air sacs inflate once he enters this big world!)
-Message to Baby Schiff from Mommy: You won't believe how many clothes we got you this week! It's unbelievable. You're daddy says that you have enough... I disagree. So, trust me when I say that you will have closets full of clothes! :) The time is getting closer my boy to when we will get to see, hold, & kiss you. Just the other night your Daddy said that he just wants to hold you for at least 2 days straight. So make no mistake, you're already very, very much loved! Love always <3

* please excuse my hair and no make-up. This is how it tends to look after an 8 hour day of work!*
* All of Baby Schiff's clothes... all organized into sizes! *
Now... for an update on the Schiff household. It's all pretty basic here! But, what's the latest news!? Jesse got a job! Thank you Jesus! We're super excited about this! And thank you to my Dad and Mark for helping him get this job so quickly! It truly is a blessing!
We also did some landscaping yesterday since the weather was so nice. I must say, we did a pretty good job! We ventured out the night before to Menard's to get our landscaping supplies! It was raining, so you can just imagine how much fun that was. We also bought some closet rods to fix up some of the closets in our house. I'm happy to say that Baby Schiff's closet now has 2 hanging rods! :) We also fixed another closet to hang all of Jesse's military clothes in! I worked on organizing and cleaning last night... I'm so happy with all this extra hanging space!
Rylee is still a crazy puppy. She loves being outside. We let her run around for awhile yesterday and she loved it. She can literally wear herself...which is bad for her but good for us! haha. She did get in trouble because she runs out to the road...this is why we need to get a shock collar on her...and SOON! Rylee's always been a good puppy around my niece...so Rachel brought girl over yesterday and Rylee was sooooo good with her! So now we have no worries that she'll be good with the baby! I hope she's like Marley from Marley & Me... like how they say that Marley stayed up all night with the baby because he was sick... I sure hope Rylee is as loving, understanding, and protective with our baby!
Well, that's pretty much all that is new in this household for the time being... tomorrow's Thursday though...and Jess & I already have a craft planned... this should be interesting since we're working on it together! =)
* One of Rylee's favorite positions...right behind her Daddy so she can see everything that's going on *
* Rylee worn out from a long, hard day of playing *
* Jesse showing off the 2xl shirt I got from Verizon... I was suppose to get a medium and somehow ended up with this shirt... Jesse said... "I'll grow into it" hahah. gotta love him!

on a scale of 1 to Osama...
On a scale of 1 to Osama...how good is my hiding spot!? haha. apparently I can't use that joke anymore. However, I will say that this is good news!
All of this rain is getting old....what else is getting old!? Being tired, miserable, and achy all of the time. I can't say I'm really enjoying this part of being pregnant. My nights now consist of the same process of going to bed...however, it's an even bigger struggle to try to turn over. It's not just one side that cramps all of the time...it's both sides now. It seems that if I lay for too long in one spot or on one side, my entire body hurts. It hurts to get up and walk, it hurts to roll over, and it hurts to move. I have to ask Jesse to help me re-adjust my big body pillow so that I can somehow get comfy. It's not a fun process...and i'm ready for it to be over!
oh no! as i'm writing this, Rylee has found a bone. and guess what's she's doing!? Ahhhh yes, you got it...she's carrying it around in her mouth whining. and now, she's found the perfect hiding spot....right in our comforter on the bed. too bad it's going to get moved here soon! and then, ahhh yes, the whining will continue! :)
I took the time to organize the baby's clothes tonight. I separated them into piles of sizes. 0-3, 3-6, 6-9, and 9-12. Jesse says that we have enough to last him for awhile, I disagree. I heard that the new Children's place in carbondale just opened!! I can not wait to go!!
well, it's raining again. correction: it's storming again!! which means, my television is not working. it keeps going in and out! how frustrating! but it's ok...because i got to watch army wives tonight. and...if you haven't ever seen army wives, i highly suggest you watch it! It's the best show! I love it. Jess isn't a big fan because he says...."it's not how military life really is." also, it's based on the army and not the marines... haha. i like it either way! So, he's learned to stay in the other room while i'm watching it! :)
I'm off for the next 2 days... so what have I don't to prep for this time off? Well, I bought the paper today, I cut out coupons, and I went through all of the ads! We have plans to re-do the landscaping in the front of the house! imagine our excitement when we saw that there's a sale on the rock to outline with! woooo!!! I want to get some flowers to plant as well...i was thinking about growing some tomatoes...but i'll leave that part up to my dad (i'll just take some of his...and his okra!) :) anyway, we're also going to build a fire pit in the backyard....so I'm really hoping mother nature will be kind enough to give us some nice, sunny days to do all of this! What else do we have planned!? painting some more, cleaning windows, buying some outdoor furniture...oh, the list goes on & on... Eventually, I'll get this house...inside and out...looking exactly how i want it too. Who knows, by then...we might be ready for a bigger home! haha. it's never ending.
it's time for bed... i got a big list of things to do tomorrow!!
