It's been too long!

Well Friends, it's been awhile since I've posted. Man, I am really hoping to get back into the swing of things... as far as this blog goes. I promise- I'm going to try to get back on track and update more often! 

What's the latest news in the Schiff household? Well, Jesse is finally back to work! He's been back for about 1 1/2 weeks so far. His foot is MUCH better! Who would have thought he'd be off work from a copperhead snake bite? What were the chances of that happening!? haha. Anyway, we're getting back into the swing of things...trying to get back onto our feet! All of the medications, doctors bills, etc... have been very, very daunting on us! But everything happens for a reason... and this too shall teach us something! :) 

Gabriel Lee is getting SO, SO, SOOOO BIG! My big boy took 4 steps all by himself last Friday- the 24th of August! :) Can you believe it!? He's starting to say more things- though some words you can't really understand! And.. He's waving "bye-bye" a lot more. It's amazing how fast he's grown and learning! I still can't believe how time flies! 

Tomorrow, Gabe and I are leaving for Florida with my mother in law. We're going on a weekend get-away to visit Jesse's Granny, Papaw, Aunt Diane, and cousin Lydia! I'm so excited... and I am hoping and praying that Gabe does well on the car ride down there. Unfortunately Jesse can't come because of work! Man, that job sure does get in the way sometimes! :) But next year, if life goes according to our plans... and we stop having random "accidents" happen (aka: snake bites) we plan on taking a couple family vacations! We are so excited and can't wait! I'm looking forward to going on a vacation with both Jesse and Gabe! :))
